This Wednesday’s Wonder: Everybody Looks Like Ants from this view in Dinant, Belgium.
Guess what we had to do get to this view.
You’ve guessed it: we had to climb up a lot of stairs to get there. It first started by going downhill via a cable car. From there, we got a good view of the Collegiate Church of our Lady. We walked around the town a little. We ordered some frikandel and french fries.
Dinant was really meant to just be a day-stop on the way to Luxembourg. But at around 3 o’ clock in the afternoon, something happened: the entire city experienced a blackout. That meant the cable car went kaput. In order to get on our way to Luxembourg, we would have to walk up what felt like a thousand steps up a hill. One incredibly vertical walk later, we snapped this photo from the top.
One hundred thousand bazillion steps later and we got this view.Tell us about a time you got a good view from the top!
