This Wednesday’s Wonder: Arles Amphitheater in France.
The amphitheater has been a historical French artifact since the 9th century. It’s hard to believe that at one time, this very coliseum was a hub for social entertainment in the Roman Empire, which included chopping peoples’ heads off. Now, it’s used for concerts and other kinds of games…that don’t include losing a limb…maybe.
