Telling it Like it Is and Seeing it, Too, in Belgrade

Have you ever just wanted to tell it like it is? It’s so much easier than having to drop hints to get what you want or to say what you want. Let’s be honest, American society has been conditioned to be politically correct, so as not to offend people.

It was nice to have a breath of fresh air in Belgrade. Check out our photo journey of where Belgrade tells it like it is:

Telling it Like it Is with Ads

Forget everything Victoria Secret is hinting at, this lingerie shop in Novi Grad is just going to say it: lingerie is for sex Forget everything Victoria Secret is hinting at, this lingerie shop in Novi Grad is just going to say it: lingerie is for sex. If you're a hipster, Coca-Cola has their eye on you. This would probably be better if it was Mexican Coke. If this was Mexican Coke, the hipster label would be perfect.

Telling it Like it Is with Graffiti

This wasn't the first time we saw graffiti politely asking Yankees to go home. So, you hear that, New York Yankees? Your baseball shenanigans aren't welcome here. Have no idea if this irony, but I like the blatant openness. Have no idea if this irony, but I like the blatant openness.

Telling it Like it Is with Food

Belgrade didn’t need words to tell it like it is, though. There’s also some beautiful architecture that tells a story, too.

Belgrade looks awesome! I think in Europe a lot of people say or do things that aren’t very..political correct?

I might pass through Serbia soon. Awesome (and funny) pictures 🙂
